Secure horse yard… Neigh problem with Partizan CCTV!

We were recently approached about spec’ing a CCTV system for a horse breeding yard to allow easy monitoring of the horses and foals and to improve security.

The requirements for this installation were the need for:

• Excellent quality night vision – to allow horses and foals to be monitored 24/7.
• Remote access with an easy to use app.
• The ability to track back in the recordings to look for any events.
• A system robust enough to withstand the dusty environment and the good old Scottish weather (horizontal rain and constant drizzle).
• Good coverage across the whole yard and wide angles to cover a whole stable where required.
• The need for a PoE solution to reduce the amount of cables required.

To meet these needs we opted for a CCTV system from Partizan CCTV. This company is based in Europe and provides an excellent range of CCTV cameras and NVRs.

This allowed us to install a system which offers:

• Full colour vision even in complete darkness – allowing horses and foals to be easily monitored round the clock.
• An 8Mp resolution for superb image quality.
• Remote access via an award winning app which is easy to use and allows for multi-screen or single screen mode with zoom functionality.
• Ability to rewind time and view recorded footage – made simpler with an easy to use time bar.
• Full colour night vision of up to 30 metres for enhanced security.
• Camera housing which is IP66 Rated and able to withstand anything the weather (or horses) can throw at them.
• PoE – meaning no need for additional power cables.
• A less intrusive black colour which allows them to fit into the environment and maintain their appearance over time.

To power the whole system we used the awesome Webro CAT6 External cabling. Webro offer quality cabling which meets all UK standards.
